Please excuse my recent absence and, therefore, late update! As the fall semester swiftly approaches, I’m rushing to prepare to transfer universities. I spent the end of last week apartment-hunting, and my plans are still up in the air.
Last Wednesday, July 20, was Kendall’s 20th birthday! Happy birthday, Kendall! Hope it was a great one!
If you’ve noticed minor tweaks around the site as of late, it’s probably because I’ve been combing the former www.KendallGaveck.com with the help of Archive.org for old “fun facts” and such to add to the site.
Actually, I’m currently in the process of archiving for the official fansite, and I’m not quite sure what I’ll be using in the future, but if you have any old photos, videos, or audio tracks of Kendall saved that you think might be useful, please do contact me at official.sm@gmail.com. (I doubt I’ll offer things up as basic downloads because of copyright issues, and I’d also have to approve things with Kendall, but in the future, once Kendall is able to make a name for herself with current music, I think fun little flashbacks might be fun. Snippets of old songs and tagged photos from old photoshoots/performances photos are what I’m thinking about. I’d love to get in touch with anyone who has any demos saved from the 2001-2003 era.) If you’re even considering helping out–thank you!
I’ve put up a new layout, and I’m currently working on finished converting the site from static .php pages to WordPress pages.
Don’t be surprised if you see some weird stuff for the next day or so, and expect some slight tweaking!
Hey, guys! I just wanted to apologize for the lack of updates. There isn’t a lot of news or photos to post at the moment because Kendall is in a really transitory period in her career right now. I don’t want to close the site because Kendall’s career is definitely not over; as far as I know, she is still pursuing music, songwriting, and acting. Until new stuff can start coming out, we’re all just going to have to wait a bit, however.
Today is Kendall’s 19th birthday. Hope it’s a great one!
