5th Year Anniversary!

As you may have noticed from the site statistics in the sidebar, this month marks Sweet Mystery’s fifth year online!
It does’t seem as if it’s been that long, although so much has happened. I mean — wow! — five years; that’s half a decade. Since the site’s launch in October 2004, when Kendall was just a public school kid from Scottsdale with a flashy website and a couple of catchy demos, Kendall has found management, performed live, signed to a major recording label, and started to work on her debut album.
I’d like to thank those of you that have continued to support Kendall and Sweet Mystery, the official Kendall Gaveck fansite, through all of the slow news times, and I hope that you’ll stick around just a bit longer. Kendall’s time is coming soon, and you’ve played a huge part in it.

Cleaned out affiliates

I cleaned out the affiliates page, deleting sites that I sent requests to awhile ago that never got back to me. If you happen to run one of those sites and are just now receiving my e-mail, please know that you were linked at one time and that if you still wish to affiliate, I will put your link back up upon notification.
I also edited the format of the date in updates. I know it’s not much, but I thought it would make things seem a little more festive.

I’d like to wish Kendall a very happy birthday! Today, she is officially 18. (I hear she really loved the birthday gift she got from her parents!)
In lieu of today, I’ve edited Kendall’s age under the Facts page.

Admiration, the fanlisting that is part of the Sweet Mystery network, has been approved by TheFanlistings.Org and Sweet Mystery will officially be listed!

Small update: Where there once was an outdated FAQ, there now is a detailed and newly-written site history, featured in the Site/Online section, that tells all about Sweet Mystery’s beginnings and how much it’s transitioned over time.
I’ve also moved Admiration, my Kendall fanlisting, to this host so that it is now located at http://kendallgaveck.fan-sites.org/fanlisting and part of this website. I’m working on getting that listed in a couple of places.
Sweet Mystery now uses WordPress!

You may have noticed that the previous updates are all missing. I’ve just installed Wordpress, and I’ll be making the updates through it from now on to make things a bit more organized.
Oh, I’ve also converted the site from .html to .php! I hope that makes it a little more convenient!
